I was born and grew up in Munich, Germany. Like many photographers, my love of photography began while in high school in the late 70’s. My uncle, a professional photographer got me interested and gave me one of his old cameras. He showed me all the tricks of photography and steps to developed the photos. The first time I saw him expose a sheet of paper in a darkroom, put it in the tray of developer & watch the image appear I was hooked – it was magic to me.

Living for 15 years in Phuket I was lucky to be surrounded by a rich people-scape. I am intrigued by how people respond to their environment, and the family and friends around them. I am fortunate to be surrounded by so much inspiration here in Asia.

My photographic work draws from the emotion of the moment, and in capturing that moment, as if the camera is the witness. I want the viewer to become familiar with the people in the photograph, and to become aware of how many different paths and stories might be contributing to those people at that moment.

I have full digital as well as film capabilities and I will always strive to give clients the best possible value. I have always kept pricing competitive and I would welcome an opportunity to provide a quotation for your wedding.
